Einstein in a spacesuit - because fixing this doesn't take a genius, just a system

You don't need to be Einstein.
You need a system.

0

/ 100

A trusted name that is nearly invisible online.

Scored across twelve areas, weighted by what actually produces revenue. Tigner has real assets - 30+ years, a 4.9-star rating, a complete Google profile - but review volume is a fraction of competitors', the money keywords belong to other agents, and the marketing engine behind the site (rankings, content, email, tracking) is mostly absent. The result: a trusted firm that new customers cannot find. This report shows exactly where, and what to fix first.

01 · The Snapshot

Your online presence, scored

Twelve areas that decide whether a Central Valley family or business owner finds you, trusts you, and calls you - before they call the next agent. Weighted by revenue impact: the categories that bring in new business count hardest.

02 · The Reputation Gap

Your reputation is excellent - and nearly invisible

Every review you have is glowing. There just aren't many of them, none get a reply, and none appear on your website. For a 30-year firm, that's a trust gap hiding in plain sight.

Priority

Too few reviews, and none on your website

You have 9 Google reviews (8 five-star, 1 four-star) and 0 reviews on Facebook. Competitors in the Visalia-Tulare area routinely carry dozens. Worse, not one testimonial appears anywhere on your own website - a first-time visitor sees zero proof that anyone trusts you.

Why it matters: Buyers compare agents by reviews first. A newer competitor with 60 reviews outranks and out-converts a 30-year firm with 9 - you lose clients you'd serve better, and never hear about it.

Moderate

0% of reviews get a response

None of your reviews have a reply from the business. Google rewards active engagement, and 89% of consumers favor businesses that respond to reviews.

"Highly recommend Tigner Financial for Life Insurance. Dalton was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me different options and provided me with the appropriate coverage."
Tony Garcia · Google, 1 yr ago
"Mark and Dalton are the epitome of superior eminence when it comes to the insurance business - in all aspects; always there with a smile, quick to respond and willing to go the extra mile."
Laurel · Google, 2 yrs ago

The reviews are there - and they're outstanding. They're just not working for you where buyers actually look.

03 · The Website

The site works - but it's quietly leaking trust and leads

Nothing here is catastrophic. It's a series of small cracks that, together, tell a visitor "this business isn't quite paying attention" - the opposite of what an insurance client needs to feel.

Critical

Two service buttons lead nowhere

On the homepage, the "Read More" buttons for Individual/Family Insurance and Dental/Vision Insurance are dead links - clicking them just jumps back to the top of the page instead of opening the service. (Confirmed in the site's code.)

Why it matters: A visitor showing buying intent clicks to learn more and hits a wall. That's a lead you earned and then dropped at the door.

Critical

No way to book you online

The only paths to contact are a phone number and a form. There's no self-scheduling calendar, no live chat, and the business line isn't set up to receive text messages - yet 9 in 10 people prefer to text a business.

Why it matters: Insurance shoppers call once. Miss it, and they call the next agent. Booking, chat, and text-back capture the ones you're currently losing in silence.

Moderate

The site looks unattended

Every main page was last updated in 2023, and the newest blog post - under a "Latest Insights" heading - is from December 2024. There are visible typos on the homepage ("Sponsers," "core tenant"), and two different Facebook pages are linked, some of them broken.

Why it matters: A prospect assumes you'll handle their policy the way you handle your storefront. Stale and sloppy reads as "not detail-oriented."

Moderate

Generic copy hides your real advantage

The service pages read like a national template - much of the content appears machine-generated. Your genuine edge - Central Valley agricultural employers, local families, Tulare-area Medicare - barely appears on the pages meant to sell it.

Why it matters: The one thing no competitor can copy is your local expertise. The site buries it, so you compete on price instead of trust.

04 · Speed & Performance

Fast server, heavy page

Your hosting responds quickly - that's good. The problem is what loads next: a bulky page-builder foundation that makes phones do far more work than they should.

Images in modern format

Moderate

The page is heavier than it needs to be

The homepage ships around 3.2MB (before fonts and below-the-fold images), including a single 1.56MB stylesheet the phone must download and process before anything appears. None of the images use modern WebP compression, so every photo is larger than it should be.

Why it matters: More than half your visitors are on a phone, often on Valley cellular. Every extra second of load time, a share of them leave before your name loads. A lean, hand-built rebuild typically cuts this by 60-80%.

Critical

You can't see what's working - nothing is tracked

We found no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tag manager on the site. You have no visibility into how many people visit, where they come from, or where they drop off.

Why it matters: You're marketing blind. Every dollar and referral that hits the site is unmeasured, so you can't tell what to do more of.

05 · Search & Local Visibility

Invisible at the moment people are ready to buy

Here's the uncomfortable truth: your site's SEO is virtually non-existent. You show up when someone types your name - and almost nowhere else. Every search like "Medicare help in Tulare" or "group benefits for farms" - the exact moment a new customer is looking - goes to a competitor.

What Google sees today

  • Page titles like "Medicare" and "About Us" - no location, no hook, no reason to rank in Tulare
  • No LocalBusiness, Service, or FAQ schema - Google can't generate rich results for you
  • Template copy with almost no local language - "Central Valley," "Tulare," and "ag" barely appear
  • Listings only 50% consistent across 33 directories - Google trusts you less for it
  • Nothing for AI assistants - when someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a Tulare agent, you're not in the answer
  • A stale blog - the newest post is from December 2024, so Google reads the site as dormant

What we ship on day one

  • Location-first titles on every page: "Group Benefits for Central Valley Employers | Tulare, CA"
  • Full structured data: LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, and review markup on every page
  • An llms.txt file plus a 50-question FAQ, built to be quoted by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews
  • All 33 directory listings corrected to one exact name, address, and phone
  • Copy written around the searches Valley customers actually make - by product and by city
  • An ongoing content engine, so the site grows instead of gathering dust
Moderate

Your listings don't match across the web

Across 33 online directories, your business name, address, and phone are only about 50% consistent - 10 exact matches, 11 partial, 12 missing or wrong. Name matches just 36% of the time; the address is even misspelled on some listings.

Name consistency

0%

Address consistency

0%

Phone consistency

0%

Why it matters: Google trusts businesses whose details are identical everywhere. Mismatches quietly suppress your ranking in local map results.

Moderate

Search engines and AI can't fully read your pages

Your Medicare and FAQ pages have genuinely useful answers, but they're missing the behind-the-scenes "structured data" that lets Google show rich results and lets ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI answers quote you. Page titles like "Medicare" and "About Us" carry no location or hook, and there's no llms.txt file to tell AI tools who you are.

Why it matters: More people every month ask an AI assistant "who's a good Medicare agent near Tulare?" Right now, nothing on your site helps you be the answer.

06 · What's Already Working

Credit where it's due

This isn't a teardown. You've got real assets to build on - which is exactly why the gaps are worth closing.

Strength

Your Google Business Profile is complete and active

Address, phone, hours, website, and photos are all in place and visible to customers - the single most important local asset, and yours is in good shape.

Strength

A spotless 4.9-star reputation

Every review you have is positive, praising Mark and Dalton by name for service and expertise. That's a foundation most agencies would envy - it just needs volume and visibility.

Strength

30+ years and a genuine local niche

Family-owned since 1992 with deep roots in Central Valley agriculture and group benefits. That story is your biggest differentiator - the plan below puts it front and center.

07 · The Plan

What we'd fix, in order

Sequenced by impact and speed. The first three can start moving the needle within weeks.

1

Instantly respond to every new lead Quick win

Every inquiry - form, chat, text, or call - gets a personal text and email response within about a minute, 24/7, then lands on your calendar. The agent who answers first wins the client; that agent becomes you, every single time.

Why first: speed-to-lead is the single highest-leverage fix in insurance sales, and it works from day one.

2

Turn on a review engine and respond to every review Quick win

Automatically ask happy clients for a Google review after every policy bind and renewal, reply to every review old and new, and stream the best ones onto your website. Goal: move from 9 reviews to 50+ in 90 days.

Why: biggest trust gain, fastest, and you already have the happy clients to ask.

3

Missed-call text-back, so you never miss a call again Quick win

The moment a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a text from your number: "This is Tigner Insurance - sorry we missed you, how can we help?" The conversation continues instead of moving to the next agent on Google.

Why: insurance shoppers call once. This catches the ones you're currently losing in silence.

4

Fix the lead leaks on the site

Repair the dead service buttons, add the online booking calendar, and add live chat - every path a visitor might want to take actually works and ends on your calendar.

Why: stops dropping prospects who are already trying to reach you.

5

Rebuild the website, hand-coded and local

A fast, modern site that loads in a fraction of the weight, puts your reviews and Central Valley expertise front and center, and is written for real people - not a template. You're looking at the preview right now.

Why: your storefront should look like the 30-year firm you are.

6

Win local & AI search

Add structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ), sharpen page titles with location, publish an llms.txt, and correct your listings across all 33 directories.

Why: gets you found the moment someone searches - on Google and in AI assistants.

7

Automated cold outreach: turn old leads into policies

Thirty years of quotes, past clients, and never-closed leads get systematic reactivation campaigns - text, email, and voicemail drops - with cross-sell journeys built in (life to Medicare, group to individual). Old contacts become new premium without a single cold call from you.

Why: the cheapest new client is one who already knows your name.

8

Completely upgrade your tech stack

One system replaces the scattered tools: smart CRM with pipelines, unified inbox (text, email, chat, DM), e-signature, invoicing with text-to-pay, a full mobile app, and analytics on everything. Every lead, conversation, and dollar in one place.

Why: you can't scale what you can't see, and right now nothing is tracked.

And the list keeps going: AEP campaign sequences, social and newsletter automation, referral engines, recruiting workflows. The walkthrough covers the full roadmap.

08 · Why This Works

How the new site turns searches into booked appointments

A redesign isn't decoration. Every fix in this report is one stage of the same pipeline: get found, get trusted, get booked, get smarter. Here's the mechanics.

A note on what you're looking at: the preview site is a quick mockup, built in hours to show what's possible. The real build goes much further - dedicated pages for every service line (Life, Group Benefits, Medicare, AG Business, and more), location pages for the Valley cities you serve, and a steady stream of blog and FAQ content. Every additional page is another door into your business from Google and AI search, and every door compounds your digital footprint.

1

Get found

Right now you only appear when someone already knows your name. The new site is built to win the searches that bring strangers: every page title carries a service + location ("Medicare Help in Tulare, CA"), LocalBusiness / Service / FAQ structured data feeds Google rich results, and a 50-question FAQ plus an llms.txt file makes you quotable by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews - the fastest-growing way people now pick local services. When a Valley farm owner asks an AI "who handles group benefits for ag businesses near Tulare," the goal is one answer: Tigner.

Fixes findings: weak SEO & AI visibility, generic page titles, no structured data, no llms.txt.

2

Get trusted

Visitors decide in seconds. The rebuild loads in a fraction of the current 3.2MB weight, shows Mark and Dalton's faces instead of stock photos, puts your 4.9-star reviews on the page where buyers actually look, and leads with the one story no competitor can copy: a family that has protected this Valley since 1992. Design is trust made visible - a 30-year firm should look like one.

Fixes findings: heavy page, no testimonials on site, generic template copy, stale storefront.

3

Get booked

Interest is worthless if it can't become an appointment. The new site gives every visitor a path that matches how they want to reach you: a self-booking calendar that works at 9pm on a Sunday, live chat for quick questions, click-to-call for the phone people, and text-back for everyone you miss. Today, a prospect who calls after hours simply disappears. Tomorrow, they book themselves and show up on your calendar with reminders already scheduled.

Fixes findings: no online booking, no chat, no text capability, dead service buttons.

4

Get smarter

With analytics and call tracking installed, every visit, call, and booking is measured. Within 90 days you'll know which service pages produce appointments, which searches bring the best clients, and what a lead actually costs - so marketing stops being a guess and becomes a dial you turn.

Fixes findings: zero analytics, zero tracking, marketing blind.

09 · The Machine Behind It

We automate every aspect of your sales and marketing

The website is the storefront. Behind it, we install a system that follows up, asks, reminds, and re-engages - automatically, in your voice, while you're out serving clients.

Speed-to-lead, 24/7

Every new lead gets a text and email within about a minute - midnight included. The agent who responds first usually wins the client; that agent becomes you, every time.

Missed-call text-back

Can't pick up? The caller instantly receives a text: "This is Tigner Insurance - sorry we missed you, how can we help?" A missed call stops meaning a lost client.

Review engine

After every policy bind and renewal, happy clients automatically get a review request, and every review gets a reply. Goal: 9 reviews to 50+ within 90 days.

Bookings & reminders

Self-scheduling with automatic SMS and email reminders, so appointments book themselves and no-shows stop eating your week.

Database reactivation

Thirty years of clients is a goldmine sitting silent. Birthday touches, annual policy reviews, and cross-sell journeys (life to Medicare, group to individual) run on autopilot.

Seasonal campaigns

AEP sequences that fill your calendar every fall, group-renewal outreach for Valley employers, and a steady social + newsletter presence - none of it done by hand.

Every automation reports into one dashboard: leads, bookings, and revenue by source. You'll see exactly what the machine is producing.
